Content for people, systems, and the spaces in between 🪷

Helping organizations design content and user experiences for evolving products, services, and systems

Kevin Flinn

I’m a T-shaped content strategist and communicator working across the four roles of content: content strategy, content design, content operations, and content engineering.

I’m drawn to work that helps people, especially in public well-being, sustainability, and other people-centered industries.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, reading, grappling, and cultivating a food forest at home. Ask me about Rousseau’s Social Contract or the time I hitchhiked halfway across the country.

Highlights

Supported content in a product ecosystem connected to 100+ vendor and health plan partners, with public metrics including 40,000+ global users within the first two weeks

Built scalable content architectures and semantic systems across 10 healthcare products

Led public affairs during the world's largest military exercise (RIMPAC), reaching a global aggregate audience with 4B+ impressions

How I live

How I live →

These are a few ways I support people and this planet.

  • Food only sourced from local, organic, and small regenerative farmers

  • Zero food waste household through composting

  • Supporting sustainable lifestyle practices, not destructive ones

  • Ethical consumerism, including avoiding environmental toxins and plastics, reducing waste, and reusing what we can (growing every day with my wife, Jess)

  • Growing a nascent food forest

  • Sharing and learning new ways to work out of unsustainable systems

How we communicate reflects the systems we’re born into. And the systems we build should reflect the world we want to live in.
